Spring 2019 Registration

Registration is now open for the Spring 2019 soccer season with the Littlestown AYSO. Our registrations are handled online through Blue Sombrero. Click on the Registration tab, and click "Register Now" to register your child.  Lots of additional information about registration can be found under the Registration tab.
Registration continues through February 3 with our regular registration fee. Any registration received February 4 or later will be subject to a $30 late fee. We hope to see your child out on the soccer fields with us this spring!

U6/U8 September Games Rescheduled

Given our Amazon-like weather this September, we've had to deal with floods, monsoons, tsunamis, and more than a few cancelled games.  In response (to just the latter), we've rescheduled a bunch of these missed games to mid-week games this October.  Our official schedule has now been updated to reflect the changes.  Please take a look and make every effort to attend each and every game with your child.

Thank you for your flexibility while we deal with an incredibly rainy season.  Let's all hope that we can see the sun and play a lot of soccer this October.

Fall Shopping Days

We are pleased to announce the Shopping Days for the 2018 Fall season:
Monday August 13 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Friday August 17 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

-Saturday August 18 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Shopping Days event is held in the pavilion at the Bryan Westfall Memorial Soccer Fields on Sells Station Road (rain or shine). The equipment is available for FREE, so leave your wallet at home.
Please see the updated inventory spreadsheet (located under the Parents tab of the Littlestown AYSO website) before you make the trip to see if we have something in your child's size.

If we don't have something in your child's size, consider the Hanover Soccer Club's used soccer equipment through their Casey's Cleats at the Utz Soccer Fields on Kindig Lane in Hanover. You can find out more about Casey's Cleats or contact them through their Facebook page.

All the equipment available at our Shopping Days was donated by Littlestown AYSO families to keep recreational soccer as affordable as possible. All the equipment is in good shape. All the equipment was scrubbed clean and treated with 10 Seconds brand shoe disinfectant and deodorizer before being stored in a climate-controlled environment. To learn more about the treatment product, see the product web page.

If you want to arrange a separate meeting to check out the equipment, please email Rich King at

Summer Soccer News

Don't forget that registration for the Fall 2018 season is underway. Remember that registration will end on July 22 with late fees starting on July 23. Please spread the word to your friends and neighbors! In case you didn't hear, a middle school soccer team has been added at Maple Avenue. Middle school soccer will be a spring sport for 7th & 8th grades, so we are hoping our middle school players will still play AYSO with us during the fall season.

We are also looking for some volunteers to serve on our Board of Directors. The 2018-2019 season will be my last one as commissioner, and we will have several other vacancies on the board as well, including Registrar and Coach Administrator. Additionally, we have an immediate need for a CVPA. The CVPA (Child & Volunteer Protection Advocate) oversees all the volunteers in our region to make sure that youth protection clearances are up-to-date. If you are interested in serving as CVPA now or serving in any other Board position next year, please let me know. We would love to bring you on as an assistant commissioner or assistant coach admin this year to help you prepare for the main role next year.

The spring season is officially behind us. Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we worked our way through a very wet spring.

End-of-Season Pool Party- Our end-of-season pool party will be held at the Littlestown Community Pool on Wednesday June 27 from 7:00-9:00 pm. Please bring your family out to swim with their soccer friends! We will provide snacks and drinks. We need to get a head count for the pool party, so please RSVP to with the number from your family who will be attending, by June 24
AYSO Camp from June 18-22 out at our fields- If you haven't signed up yet, registration is still open. This camp has been a hit with our players in the past. Here is the link to sign up:

Register Now for Fall 2018!

Registration is now open for the fall season. Thanks to everyone's fabulous fundraising efforts this past season, registration fees will remain the same for 2018-2019, and we are able to offer an early-bird discount for the fall season. If you register your child on or before June 17, you will get $5 off your registration fee. From June 18 to July 22, registration will be open with our regular registration fee. Any registration received after July 22 will be subject to a $30 late fee.

For the fall, we are going back to the traditional even divisions (6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 15U). Using even divisions means that most of our players will be on the same-size field they played on this past season. Using the Blue Sombrero system, all players must register as coed. We will attempt to field separate girls' and boys' teams, rather than coed teams, at 10U, 12U and 15U. The other regions in the area are hoping to form separate girls' and boys' teams as well.

To register your child, please click on the Registration tab to find the link to Blue Sombrero, the online site we use for registration. Additional information about registration can also be found under the Registration tab.

Thank you for your continued support of the Littlestown AYSO.

Pictures, Bake Sale

Hi, Soccer Families-
What a beautiful Opening Day yesterday! I hope you and your child had a fun day at the fields.
We have a busy week this week with our Picture Days on Tuesday and Wednesday. The schedule for your team's day and time is on the Littlestown Soccer website, under the Parents tab. Please have your child at the fields in full uniform 10 minutes before his/her scheduled picture time. Picture order forms were distributed in the parent packets. If you need an extra order form, they will be available in the pavilion on picture nights.
We are looking for volunteers to help with our annual Bake Sale on April 28 from 9-3. Pine Creek Structures, the shed place beside Kennies, is having an Open House that day, and they have been kind enough to let us have a bake sale during the event. Please consider either making a baked good to sell or volunteering to watch the stand. Each team is expected to fill at least two volunteer slots that day, either providing goodies or helping at the Bake Sale for an hour.
We're using to organize our volunteers for the Bake Sale. Here's how to sign up:
1) Click this link to see our SignUp on
2) Review the options listed and choose the spot(s) you like.
3) Sign up! It's Easy - you will NOT need to register an account or keep a password on
Note: does not share your email address with anyone. If you prefer not to use your email address, please contact me and I can sign you up manually.
Thank you for your help,
Lisa Farley

Opening Day

Thank you for your flexibility this week as we adjust practice schedules to get the kids some time outside. The good news is that the fields are drying well, and we should be in good shape for our Opening Day games this Saturday!
It will be a very busy Saturday at our fields. Please be courteous with parking, and leave the ends of the two middle rows open so that cars can drive around the middle rows without going into the grass. 9U games will be played on the field by the woods. There is ample parking next to that field for 9U families and for overflow parking from the main lot. Also, please keep in mind that no dogs or pets of any kind are permitted at our fields during practices or games.
Don't forget the online apparel order closes this Saturday night April 14 as well.
